Iceland striker Eidur Gudjohnsen claims the Barcelona squad are looking forward to competing in the Club World Cup.
Barca are Europe's representatives in the six-team competition by virtue of them winning the UEFA Champions League.
The competition gets underway on December 10, although Barca have been handed a bye into the semi-finals.
Frank Rijkaard will take a strong squad to Japan and Gudjohnsen is expecting a bold show.
"We are looking forward to it," Gudjohnsen told Sky Sports News. "We anticipate a difficult few days.
"Of course we have two games to concentrate on before we go there, but hopefully we will come back happy with a cup."
