Giuly fighting fit

Barcelona's Ludovic Giuly has returned to training and believes he has now put his injury problems behind him.

The French star has suffered a frustrating start to his Barca career with a series of niggling injuries restricting his appearances in the first half of the campaign.

However, the former Monaco star insists he has used the winter break to regain full fitness, and now expects to be back to his best - starting with the trip to Villarreal this Sunday.

"I am feeling very good and am ready to start playing again," he told Barca's official website.

"During the holidays I worked hard and I believe I am now completely over the muscular injury.

"I am ready to start working with my team-mates again.

"It's obvious that I have not been able to play as I have wanted. I have had bad luck with injuries.

"Muscular problems have not allowed me to be at 100 percent, and I am a player that needs to be completely fit to play my best football."
