Belletti in Barca warning

Barcelona full back Juliano Belletti is doubtful that the Catalan giants can maintain their superb early season form.

Barca have started the campaign like a train and currently sit top of both La Liga and their UEFA Champions League group.

The quality of their displays, and the fact they have yet to taste defeat in competitive action this year, has led many pundits to make them favourites to win their first Primera title in five years.

However, Belletti has warned that it is unrealistic to expect Barca to maintain their current level indefinitely, especially with their recent injury problems.

The 'azulgrana' outfit have lost Thiago Motta, Gabri and Edmilson to long-term injuries, and the summer signing from Villarreal believes the team will feel the loss of those players in the coming weeks.

"It will be a little bit difficult, with the Copa del Rey starting, for us to remain in all three competitions with the squad a bit reduced," the Brazil international stated.

"It might be that Barca B players are needed to help us."
