Juventus have confirmed their interest in signing Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

The Germany international turned down a contract extension last year and is set to leave the Bernabeu this summer.

Juventus face Real's rivals Barcelona in the Champions League final on June 6, and general director Giuseppe Marotta says they will be looking to make a move this week, but admits there will be competition for his signature.

"Khedira has an interesting profile and not just for us," Marotta told the Italian press. "It's an opportunity because he is out of contract.

"We are thinking about it. We will evaluate the situation in the next few days."

Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have been linked with moves for Khedira, as have Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.

The 28-year-old joined Real Madrid from Stuttgart in 2010 for an undisclosed fee, but he has made just 11 league appearances for Carlo Ancelotti's side this season.

Marotta said Juve are also keen to sign Fiorentina goalkeeper Norberto Neto after the Brazil international turned down a new deal earlier this year. He becomes a free agent next month.

"Neto's situation is the same as that of Khedira," Marotta added. "He has done really well this season."

The 25-year-old is a reported target of Liverpool and Roma and has made 36 starts for Fiorentina in all competitions this season.
