Neymar says Paul Pogba would be welcomed with open arms if he decided to leave Juventus and join Barcelona.

The 22-year-old has become one of the most highly-rated talents in European football since leaving Manchester United for Italy three years ago.

He has been linked with a move back to Old Trafford, while Manchester City have also been touted as a possible destination for the France international.

But Neymar is sure the Pogba would be welcomed with open arms if he decided to come to the Nou Camp.

"How he would fit, I don't know - you would have to ask the coach - but he is a great player and we would open the gates for him," the Barcelona forward said after being named as an ambassador for PokerStars at a press conference in Spain.

"He is a great star. He is still young, even younger than me. He is a player with such quality, and that is always welcome."

Any move for Pogba is complicated by the fact that Barcelona are currently in the middle of a transfer embargo.

FIFA handed down the punishment to the Primera Division leaders last year after being found guilty of breaching rules on the transfer of players aged under 18.

They would not be allowed to sign Pogba - or any other player - until January 2016.
