Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta was delighted with his performance on his return from injury against Huesca on Wednesday.

The Spain international scored one goal and set up two others to guide Barca to a 4-0 triumph over their third division opponents in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey.

The 30-year-old, who had been sidelined since October 25 with a right thigh injury, played 90 minutes.

"It's never easy to return after so long," Iniesta told his club's official website, www.fcbarcelona.com. "But I got really good feelings from the game and this is the most important thing.

Barcelona thrashed Huesca 4-0 in the fourth round of the Copa del Rey, whilst Atletico Madrid beat Hospitalet 3-0.

"This gives me peace of mind.

"When you play a football match, you always want to win and play well."

Iniesta struck his team's second goal of the game to halt his nine-month scoring drought.

Barca's No 8 had previously scored in a 4-3 triumph over Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on March 23.

"With respect to the goal, I took a shot from outside the area and at times it goes in and others it doesn't," he said. "I struck the ball well and the ball went in."

Barca, coached by Luis Enrique, host city rivals Espanyol on Sunday.

The Catalan outfit are second in La Liga, two points adrift of leaders Real Madrid.
