Atletico Madrid have been fined 602 euros after Cristiano Ronaldo was struck on the head by a lighter thrown by one of their fans during Tuesday's Copa del Rey semi-final.
Ronaldo was hit as he left the field at half-time after scoring twice from the spot as Real Madrid went on to secure a 2-0 second leg victory at Vicente Calderon.
Atletico could have been fined up to 30,000 euros and be forced to play up to three games behind close doors.
However, the club escaped with a token punishment as the disciplinary committee took into account that a lighter is not a prohibited item in a stadium and that Ronaldo was not seriously injured and was able to play on.
Madrid won 5-0 on aggregate to advance to the final.
