AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has dismissed reports that the club have rejected a bid from Real Madrid for midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Speculation in Italy had claimed that Milan had turned down on offer for Boateng, which also included Real midfielders Nuri Sahin and Lassana Diarra heading to the San Siro.
Galliani was reported to want a straight cash deal for Boateng, although the inclusion of former Rossoneri hero Kaka could prompt a change of heart.
However, Galliani says Spanish champions Real have not been in touch about former Portsmouth schemer Boateng and poured cold water on the prospect of Kaka returning to Milan.
"Real Madrid never asked us for Boateng," Galliani told
gazzetta.it.
"It is 100 per cent impossible for Kaka to return to AC Milan.
"He still has a three-year contract with Real Madrid and a salary which is impossible to pay with the Italian tax system."
Galliani also played down rumours that Brazil international Robinho could leave Milan to join ambitious Spanish side Malaga.
He added: "For Robinho to Malaga, there was just a pourparler, nothing concrete."
