Following an absence of five years, Celta Vigo have won promotion back to the Primera Liga.
They secured themselves second spot behind local rivals Deportivo la Coruna in the Segunda Division standings after drawing 0-0 at home to Cordoba while third-placed Real Valladolid lost at home to Guadalajara.
Celta, having missed out in the promotion play-offs last season, were relegated from the top flight on the final day of the 2006/07 season despite winning their final three games.
The final promotion spot behind champions Deportivo and Celta will be taken by one of Valladolid, Alcorcon, Hercules or Cordoba, with those four clubs now going into the play-offs.
Racing Santander, Sporting Gijon and Villarreal were the three teams relegated from the Primera Division.
