Midfielder set for move to Turkey

Real Madrid's Hamit Altintop has confirmed that he has agreed a move to Galatasaray. The German-born midfielder joined the Spanish giants last year, but was limited to a fringe role, only playing a handful of games for Jose Mourinho's side. Now the 29-year-old Turkish international has revealed that he is moving to Galatasaray, just a year after he moved from Bayern Munich. "It is true that I have agreed to join Galatasaray," Altintop was reported as saying by Turkish news agency Anatolia. He signed a four-year deal in the Spanish capital, but is now set to play in Turkey for the first time in his career. Altintop's twin brother Halil already plays in the Turkish top-flight with Trabzonspor.
