New Sevilla manager Michel is confident he can restore pride at the club after taking over from Marcelino Garcia Toral on Tuesday.
Michel, formally known as Jose Miguel Gonzalez, took charge of the team earlier in the week following the sacking of the former manager.
The former Real Madrid midfielder made his name in management at Getafe two years ago.
Having left football at the end of last season, Michel's first task on returning to the game is to turn around the fortunes of Sevilla, who sit 11th in La Liga.
"My message is clear; there are three months of the season remaining and I am very excited about where Sevilla should be," he said.
"But we cannot achieve anything on our own and we will need everyone and only then at the end of the campaign can we see where we are.
Well informed
"On our part, we are convinced that we can turn the situation around."
However, despite spending time out of the game, former Spain international Michel is confident that he is equipped well enough to take on the new challenge.
"Obviously I know the team," he added. "I am well informed about the game and I know this squad.
"It is difficult not to know anything with the amount of good and great players that are here.
"I also know that I have come in at an unusual time for a club like Sevilla as they have achieved so much in recent years but have had a tough time in the last couple of seasons."
