Sanchez pens contract extension

Primera Liga giants Valencia have snapped up French midfielder Sofiane Feghouli from Grenoble. The 20-year-old, who suffered relegation out of Ligue 1 in 2009/10, has penned a four-year contract. The talented playmaker has plenty of first-team experience for one so young, as he made the breakthrough in his homeland while still in his teens. He is now hoping that a switch to Spain will see him develop further and allow him to force his way into international reckoning. Meanwhile, Valencia, who have agreed to sell David Villa to Barcelona, have also tied down veteran goalkeeper Cesar Sanchez on a new contract. The 38-year-old shot-stopper has agreed to extend his current deal by a further 12 months. The former Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid man will now remain with Lose Che until 30th June 2011.
