Winger heading for US

Ryan Smith has agreed a two-year deal to play in the MLS with Kansas City Wizards, skysports.com understands. The former Arsenal winger has been training in America, with The Wizards over the past few weeks. The 23-year-old was a free agent after his short-term deal with Crystal Palace expired in January. Now Smith, whose father is American, has agreed terms on a two-year contract in MLS. "He is delighted to have sorted everything out," his representative Eddie Duah told skysports.com. "He has agreed a two-year deal and now just needs to sort a few things out before the move is completed."
