Ikechi Anya has revealed he would be interested in representing Scotland after joining Sevilla.
The 21-year-old recently signed for the Liga giants on a two-year contract after impressing for Northampton Town.
Anya is eligible to play for Scotland, England, Nigeria and Romania, but is yet to decide where his loyalty lies.
The striker was born in Glasgow, but has lived the majority of his life in England after his father moved south of the border.
"I was born in Glasgow and had to move to England because my dad got a job there," he told the Daily Record.
"I'm eligible to play for Scotland, England and Nigeria because of my dad and Romania through my mum.
"Glenn (Hoddle) talked to me about this the other day and if someone asked me to play for a county I would have to think about it long and hard.
"But I would certainly be very interested in talking to Scotland."
Anya nearly did not make it in the game and he credits Glenn Hoddle's football academy in Andalucia for helping improve his confidence.
"I've been at Wycombe and Northampton, but going to Glenn Hoddle's academy really helped me and I now have confidence in my ability," he continued.
"To join a club as big as Sevilla is amazing. This is an amazing move for me, a dream come true."
