Enzo Maresca appears set to join Olympiakos from Sevilla following lengthy negotiations between the clubs.
The Italian midfielder has been with Sevilla for the past four seasons and the Spanish outfit stated earlier this summer that he would not be going anywhere.
However, Maresca is expected in Athens on Monday and Greek reports suggest he will put pen-to-paper on a three-year contract.
Olympiakos are understood to have agreed a €1.2million (£1million) fee with Sevilla and offered the 29-year-old a lucrative deal.
If the transfer is finalised Maresca will become Olympiakos' fifth signing of the summer after Jaouad Zairi, Urko Pardo, Olof Mellberg and Matt Derbyshire.
