Inter Milan defender Maicon insists he knows nothing of reported interest in his services from Real Madrid.
The free-spending Spaniards have already tied up deals for Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, while Valencia striker David Villa is reported to be on the verge of completing a move to El Santiago Bernabeu.
Having considerably strengthened their attacking options, it is believed that Real have now turned their attention to tightening up at the back.
Brazil international Maicon has caught their eye and is rumoured to be next on Florentino Perez's wish list.
The South American star has, however, denied any knowledge of the mounting speculation regarding his future and insists he has had no contact from the Spanish capital.
"I am under contract with Inter until 2013 and we will see what happens after the Confederations Cup," Maicon told Marca.
"I don't know anything about [Real Madrid]. Nobody came to speak with me."
