Atletico Madrid boss Abel Resino is confident Sergio Aguero will stay at Vicente Calderon.
The Argentina international has been linked with a move away from Atletico and a number of Europe's top clubs are understood to be interested.
The likes of Barcelona and Inter Milan have been credited with an interest, while Aguero admitted over the weekend he was flattered to be connected with Chelsea.
However, Resino insists that Aguero has no intention of switching clubs.
"Atletico want to carry on growing," Resino told Marca.
"The objective is to have a great team. As a consequence, we have to keep our star players and keep on strengthening.
"Two days after he left (for internationally duty) I spoke with Kun and he told me he wants to stay with Atletico."
Resino agreed a new contract with Atletico last week after a fine start to his spell as manager and he is delighted to be staying for at least one more year.
He said: "There has not been any issue. We did reach an agreement in 10 minutes. They really wanted to keep me and we were on the same wavelength."
