Croatia international Marko Babic is negotiating his exit from Real Betis and has been linked with a move to Monaco.
Babic joined Betis from Bayer Leverkusen last summer but gradually fell out of favour with coach Francisco Chaparro.
He has now left the club's training camp to discuss a move away and hopes the matter will be resolved in the near future.
"I don't know, we will see what will happen," Babic told Betis' official website.
"I still have not signed anything, I am going to negotiate.
"I can't talk until I sign, because as of the moment I am a Betis player."
Betis have not identified which team Babic is talking to but the 27-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Monaco.
L'Equipe has reported that Monaco have agreed a fee of 2million euros (£1.6million).
