Atletico Madrid have signed Florent Sinama-Pongolle from Recreativo for an undisclosed fee.
Sinama-Pongolle has impressed in Spanish football since originally joining Recreativo on loan from Liverpool in 2006.
He scored 12 goals during his first season in La Liga and 10 goals last term after joining Recreativo on a permanent basis.
The 23-year-old has now completed a move to Atletico after accepting a four-year contract at the Vicente Calderon.
The forward will be presented to the media on Monday and has the opportunity to play UEFA Champions League next term.
