Daniel Alves is keen to secure a move away from Sevilla as soon as possible.
The Brazilian international, and club captain, feels that the time has come for him to seek a new challenge away from Sanchez Pizjuan.
He had appeared to be on his way to Chelsea last summer, but a 40million euros (£32million) price tag forced the Blues to look elsewhere.
They eventually signed Juliano Belletti from Barcelona for 5.5million euros (£4.3million), and have recently agreed a deal to take Portuguese international Jose Bosingwa to Stamford Bridge.
With a switch to the Blues now seemingly out of the question, Barcelona would appear to be the front-runners for the attacking full-back's signature.
"I really want to leave now and I hope that everything will be finalised as soon as possible," Alves said.
