A host of major clubs are preparing to make a move for David Villa, but the Valencia striker admits that he could stay at Mestalla.

Valencia star considers options

David Villa may have a host of Europe's major clubs preparing to make a move for him this summer, but the Valencia striker admits that he could stay at Mestalla. Interest from Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool has led to reports that it is only a matter of time before he leaves Mestalla. While Villa knows all about the rumours, he admits that he is not going to do anything to force a transfer because if Valencia do not want to sell him then he is happy to stay put. "All players are at the disposal of their clubs. I have an extensive contract, with a large buy-out clause and I signed it intending to complete it," he told Marca. "If it is best for the club to cash in and earn money from my transfer though I will accept and if not, then I will accept that too. I am happy here and will do what they want for next season."

Silva to stay too

David Silva has also been touted as a possible transfer target for several clubs and he feels that he is in the same position as Villa with regards to his future. "I am very comfortable at Valenica, but in football you can never know what will happen and I am at the disposal of the club. My future will be whatever is best for the club," he added.
