Ronaldinho's agent and brother says Milan 'have an advantage' in the quest to sign the Barcelona playmaker.
The Brazilian appears certain to leave Camp Nou in the summer and European champions Milan have already stressed their intention to make a bid.
City rivals Internazionale are also keen on Ronaldinho, with the Serie A leaders' president Massimo Moratti suggesting his club have an 'exceptional relationship' with Barca and the player's management team.
But the 28-year-old's representative Roberto de Assis concedes that Milan are the current favourites to conclude a deal at the end of the season.
"Milan are enthusiastic about the signing of Ronaldinho," De Assis told Canal+.
"People are a lot more together on where we stand for next season, but that's not to say the deal is done.
"At the moment we (Ronaldinho and De Assis) have a contract with Barca and we can't say the move is definite. But Milan have an advantage."
When asked if his brother was happy at Barcelona, De Assis replied: "There's respect. I'm not saying there's happiness, but there's respect.
"It is not only a bad season for Ronaldinho, but for all the team. It isn't a nice situation, but that's how it is."
