Barcelona remain unsure over Ronaldinho's 'medical problems' after a scan revealed no specific injury.

Brazilian set for 'specific treatment'

Barcelona remain in the dark over Ronaldinho's 'medical problems' after a scan revealed the Brazilian has not suffered a specific injury. Ronaldinho missed Barcelona's 2-2 draw with Almeria on Sunday and the playmaker only trained for six minutes on Monday before limping off. Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard has announced the player is injured, but scans have revealed no muscle or tendon damage in his right leg. And Barcelona now say Ronaldinho is set to undergo 'specific treatment' in a bid to solve the problem. A statement on the club's official website said: "As a result of a persistent problem in the adductor muscle of the right leg, the player has had a scan which revealed there is no muscle or tendon injury. "The player will receive specific treatment to solve the medical problems that remain." No time period has been given for how long Ronaldinho will spend on the sidelines, but the 27-year-old is expected to miss Barcelona's Copa del Rey semi-final second-leg with Valencia on Thursday.
