Real Madrid sporting director Predrag Mijatovic has insisted it was not a mistake to sign Arjen Robben.
The Dutch winger made a big-money move to the Bernabeu last summer but has only made five starts for Real.
Robben has struggled for form and in particular fitness, with a number of niggling injuries severely restricting his impact.
However, Mijatovic maintains that time is on Robben's side and is confident he can still play a major role for the club.
"He is only 23 and he has a lot of quality," said the Real official.
"This is not something that doesn't have a solution - we need him to relax a little, because it has not been easy mentally for him.
"It is too soon to say that we have made a mistake. We need more time. Robben will be very useful."
