Barcelona have reportedly agreed a deal with Bayern Munich for defender Philip Lahm.
The Germany international, who is regarded as one of the most promising full-backs in the world, has been tracked by Barca for some time.
However, it is understood that Barcelona are in no rush to bring in Lahm, as they are not willing to pay the 15million euros (£10.7million) demanded by Bayern.
Spanish sources claim the full-back will move to Camp Nou on a four-year deal when his contract with Bayern expires in the summer of 2009.
Deco closing on return
Barcelona have received a boost with the news that Deco could be back in action within three weeks.
The midfielder has been sidelined since suffering a thigh injury in the 3-1 defeat to Villarreal last month.
But the latest scans have been positive and Deco might be able to return as early as the home game against Deportivo La Coruna on 9th December.
Samuel Eto'o has been pencilled in to return on the same date following injury.
