Sevilla defender Julien Escude is expected to return to action in two weeks as he steps up his rehabilitation from a groin injury.
The centre-back has been sidelined since 7th October when he featured in Sevilla's 1-0 defeat to Deportivo La Coruna.
Escude has also been forced to sit out two of France's Euro 2008 qualifiers and the 2-1 UEFA Champions League victory over Steaua Bucharest at the Sanchez Pizjuan stadium.
The 28-year-old will also miss the away fixture against the Romanian outfit on 7th November.
However it is hoped Escude will return to fitness in a fortnight after Sevilla placed him on a special rehabilitation programme designed to increase the speed of his recovery.
