Julio Baptista has played down reports linking him with a move to England during the January transfer window.
The Brazilian, who spent an unproductive loan spell at Arsenal last season, was linked with a possible move to Manchester City in the summer.
City are thought to be keeping tabs on the situation with reports suggesting they could rekindle their interest in the forward when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
Baptista is well down the pecking order at Real, but the former Sevilla man insists he will stay at El Santiago Bernabeu to the end of the season at least.
Staying put"I want to continue here with Real Madrid," Baptista told Marca
"We'll talk at the end of the season.
"I don't know about England. No-one has said anything to me."
