Sevilla wing-back Daniel Alves has admitted he is concerned that the team have lost their 'way of playing football'.
But they have now lost four games in a row in the league and the Brazil star feels the team's reputation is dropping.
"Sevilla aren't the team they used to be," he told Lance Press. "We are worried because we have lost our identity and our way of playing football.
"In the last two years, we made everyone respect us, but now we have lost games at home that we shouldn't have lost because they have been against team that aren't better than us."
Chevanton registeredMeanwhile, the Spanish Association have allowed Sevilla to register Javier Chevanton for the league due to the number of strikers set to depart for the African Cup of Nations in January.
The Uruguay striker had not been registered at the start of the season and has been restricted to training with the squad, but has now been granted permission to take part in La Liga.
Sevilla are expected to lose Ivory Coast striker Arouna Kone as well as Mali duo Fredi Kanoute and Seydou Keita for the competition, which takes place from 20th January to 10th February.
