Striker returns after five years

Getafe striker Daniel Guiza has announced that he has agreed to join Real Mallorca for ¿5m (£3.3m) - five years after leaving the club.

The 26-year-old was a favourite at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez, but has been allowed to talk to other clubs following the arrival of Michael Laudrup as coach.

Guiza was the subject of a bid from Russian side Rubin Kazan last week, but was keen to remain in Spain.

"This is a special feeling for me," he told the Spanish press.

"In Getafe I was happy, but I know Mallorca and I know that it is a big deal in other aspects."

Guiza will sign a deal with Mallorca until 2012.
