PSV Eindhoven coach Ronald Koeman will continue his search for a third-choice keeper after deciding not to offer David Loria a contract.
The Kazakhstan keeper had spent a a week on trial with the Dutch champions.
But after casting an eye over the 24-year-old stopper, Koeman has decided not to offer Loria a deal.
Koeman told Voetbal International: "It would be great to have a talented keeper who could replace Heurelho Gomes in the future but that is something Loria could not fulfill."
Koeman is now understood to be set to turn his attentions to highly-rated 20-year-old Brazilian Cassio Ramos, who is also attracting the interest of Benfica.
Meanwhile, PSV have again loaned out Pepe Pla to Primera side Levante.
The 20-year-old Spanish-born defender, who has yet to make a first-team start for PSV, spent the second half of last season at the Valencian outfit.
