Bordeaux winger Henri Saivet will be hoping Les Girondins bounce back in Ligue 1 after their midweek Europa League defeat.
The French club are out of Europe after a 1-0 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night.
Saivet had insisted keeping up the momentum would be difficult.
Les Girondins are currently 12th in the Ligue 1 standings in a congested mid-table and are winless in their last two league games.
"The match against Frankfurt will condition our state of mind a little in relation to the match against Ajaccio," Saivet told girondins.com.
"We have to successfully negotiate this game and also rest well because we have a series of matches happening.
"It will take a lot of juice to tackle these kind of games as we know Ajaccio will be difficult."
Ajaccio will be fighting for points against Bordeaux as they bid to climb out of the relegation zone.
The Corsican side are currently second-bottom with eight points and only above basement side Sochaux on goal difference.
Lille manager Rene Girard, meanwhile, will be without three players for Saturday's trip to Valenciennes.
Les Dogues are second in the overall standings, four points behind leaders Paris Saint Germain, and will be targeting a maximum return against their struggling opponents, who are in the bottom three.
"It's a little early for (midfielder) Marvin Martin (knee) to return to the competition," Girard told losc.fr.
"He still needs to train more for reassurance. Ryan Mendes (ankle) continues his rehabilitation and John Ruiz (hamstring) will also be absent.
"The rest of the group is available."
Elsewhere, Monaco manager Claudio Ranieri will be without striker Radamel Falcao for the visit of Rennes on Saturday.
The Colombia international has withdrawn from the squad after suffering a thigh injury but could be back in contention for next weekend's derby against Nice.
Toulouse coach Alain Casanova had better news as he confirmed that defender Aymen Abdennour will return to the starting line-up for Saturday's visit of Toulouse.
Abdennour had been struggling with a knee injury and missed the games against Evian, Ajaccio and Lille, but now looks set to make his comeback.
In the other games, league leaders Paris Saint Germain will look to continue their form after securing their place in the Champions League knockout stages when they host Lyon on Sunday, while Marseille meet Montpellier on Friday.
Saturday sees Guingamp at home to Nantes, Lorient face Nice and St Etienne host Reims, while Evian travel to Bastia on Sunday.
