AZ Alkmaar coach Louis van Gaal has boosted his attacking options by sealing a deal for Nourdin Boukhari.
The Moroccan attacker emerged as a target for AZ after French side Nantes confirmed they were ready to let him move on.
AZ tabled a loan offer to Les Canaris and the details of the transfer were finalised on Friday.
Boukhari has signed a loan deal until the end of the season, at which point AZ will make a decision on whether to complete a permanent transfer.
Van Gaal is also keen on bringing in a keeper and reports suggest he has made an approach for Brondby's Casper Ankergren.
AZ have not yet confirmed their interest, but Ankergren would welcome a move to Holland.
"There are clubs from other countries interested, but I would like to go to the Netherlands," Ankergren told BT.
Brazilian keeper Bruno Fernandes of Atletico Miniero is also reported to be a target for AZ.
