Nantes goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic has vowed to win back his place after being dropped by coach Georges Eo.
The Serbian international has struggled to adapt to Ligue 1 following his summer switch from Crvena Zvezda.
Stojkovic has been replaced by youngster Vincent Briant by Eo but the 23-year-old is ready to fight to regain his place.
"Everything changed after our loss against Lorient," Stojkovic told Ouest-France.
"But I wasn't the only one dropped, five players have been picked out, the foreign signings have had the finger pointed at.
"I have only shown 10 percent of my potential. I can recover my place, but the situation is not good for me or the club."
Despite his problems at club level, Stojkovic has been reassured by Serbia coach Javier Clemente that his place in the national side is safe.
Stojkovic said: "He (Clemente) has told me he knows my level.
"He thinks the situation with club and his selections are two different things.
"He has reminded me that Buffon was a substitute for his club but in the Italy starting line-up at the same time."
Nantes director of sports Japhet N'Doram believes striker Dennis Oliech is another player who has yet to settle in France.
N'Doram has been criticised in the French press for his summer transfer activity but the Nantes official has heaped part of the blame on some of the club's players.
"People criticise our summer recruitment, but there is a problem with foreign players adapting to a country, a city, a game," N'Doram told 20 minutes.
"Dennis Oliech has been here for one year but he hasn't integrated into the squad. I am disappointed."
However, Eo has backed the Kenyan international to come good and shine at La Beaujoire.
"He has the qualities that our other strikers haven't got - quickness and power," Eo said on the club's official website.
"But he is technically limited, there is a lot of work to do but he is working hard.
"He is very enthusiastic and he will eventually become one of the best strikers in the league."
