Nantes goalkeeper Mickael Landreau is reportedly very interested in a possible switch to Milan.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper has been earning rave reviews for his performances in Ligue One this season, and has caught the eye of several top European clubs.
The player's agent said earlier this week that Premiership side Arsenal have made contact with him, while Real Betis, Internazionale and Paris Saint Germain have also been linked with the Nantes captain.
Landreau is expected to leave France at the end of the season for a new challenge, and is eager to experience UEFA Champions League football.
Milan have now emerged as the leading candidates to capture the keeper, who would provide cover for 32-year-old current number one Dida.
