Nantes hint at departures

NANTES chairman Jean-Luc Gripond has hinted the club will have to re-coup transfer funds next summer and that some star names could be on their way out.

Rumours on who might be on their way out of the club have been rife over the past week, with shot-stopper Michael Landreau (pictured) top of the departure list.

"Our position hasn't changed since July," said Gripond. "Indeed we wish to sell for an amount between ‚é¼10 and ‚é¼12 million before next June.

"We do not have any account troubles, but we have to be vigilant. With the players mentioned - notably (Sylvain) Armand, (Mathieu) Berson and Landreau - we are on the same page."

Spanish outfit Deportivo La Coruna are reportedly very interested in signing Landreau due to the absence of number one Jose Molina, who is currently away from the game fighting cancer.
