Troyes defender Jean-Louis Montero is angry with his treatment by coach Jean-Marc Furlan.
The 35-year-old full-back has lost his starting spot this season following the arrival of Demetrius Ferreira in the summer.
Montero is no longer training with the rest of Furlan's first-team squad and has now publicly criticised his coach.
"For several months I consider I have been disliked by my coach," Montero said. "Through some of his words, he questioned my honour and my reliability.
"Also I noticed once again on Tuesday morning we were six players in the second group in training, I tell myself the competition with the first-team members is not fair."
Furlan has refused to comment on Montero's remarks, but Troyes chairman Thierry Gomez gave his full backing to the coach.
Gomez said: "Attacking Jean-Marc Furlan means attacking ESTAC and the club shows solidarity to his coach."
