Troyes defender Gregory Paisley is confident that his side's relaxed attitude will help them to avoid relegation.
ESTAC have suffered a disappointing run of defeats recently and are hovering just one point clear of the Ligue 1 relegation zone but former PSG player Paisley is unfazed by the club's situation.
"The atmosphere is very calm, we are working calmly," Paisley told RMC.
"We knew our situation from the start of the season. There is no need to be alarmed."
Troyes will travel to face St Etienne at the weekend, a side who are currently in bad form at home.
"St Etienne are in the middle of a poor run with four consecutive home defeats, but we are having difficulty earning away points," Paisley continued.
"Honestly, it is heartbreaking to see my former club Paris Saint Germain in such a situation that would be bad for French football, but I would prefer to see ESTAC stay in Ligue 1.
"They have the standard of play but their problem is a mental one. I hope they will avoid relegation, but not at the expense of Troyes."
