Midfielder heads to France for talks
Skysports.com understands Nice have agreed a loan deal with Middlesbrough for Didier Digard.
Nice have been in talks with Boro over a deal to bring the former Paris St Germain star back to France and it is believed a six-month deal has been thrashed out.
The French side have the option to make Digard's move permanent at the end of the loan spell for a fee of €6million.
Digard has found himself out of favour under new Boro boss Gordon Strachan making just three substitute appearances since the Scot's arrival at the Riverside.
Middlesbrough have given the 23-year-old the green light to travel to France to finalise talks with Nice.
Digard is expected to tie up the move to Nice this weekend and his switch will provide a welcome boost to the club as they look to climb away from danger at the wrong end of the Ligue 1 table.
