NICE returned to the top of Le Championnat with a convincing 3-0 win over Ajaccio.
Brazilian midfielder Everson put the hosts ahead after 25 minutes reacted sharply to slot home with the Ajaccio defenders on their heels.
Ten minutes later that lead was doubled with Serge Ayeli netting after good work from former Arsenal striker Kaba Diawara.
Diawara then got in on the scoring act hitting the back of the net eight minutes from time.
Nice leapfrog defending champions Lyon at the summit and now have a one point advantage having played one game more.
