Striker Steve Savidan has signed a contract extension at Ligue 1 outfit Valenciennes.
The 28-year-old's contract was set to run out in the summer of 2008, but he has made such an impressive start to life in the French top flight that he has been rewarded with a longer deal.
"VAFC have found an agreement with striker Steve Savidan to extend his contract for two more seasons," a statement on the club's website read.
"The club is pleased to have secured such an important element on a long term basis."
Savidan has put pen-to-paper on the deal which should keep him at the club until June 2010.
