Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is backing new arrival David Luiz to bounce back quickly after his World Cup nightmare.
The Brazilian became the most expensive defender in world football at the start of the summer when the Ligue 1 champions spent £50million to acquire his services from Chelsea.
He captained his national side in their disastrous 7-1 World Cup semi-final defeat to Germany and was widely criticised for his performance, but Ibrahimovic remains confident the 27-year-old can justify his price tag and prove a valuable asset to the French club.
The Sweden star said: "I think it's a positive thing. We're waiting for him to come here and settle down, to get to know the players, the club, the supporters and the city, which is amazing.
"We welcome him with open arms. It's not a difficult group to enter and every player who has come has felt welcome. It's easy to adapt and it's up to him.
"I think he's professional and he's waiting to come here. There will be no problems!"
