Antonio Candreva is keeping his focus on Italy amid ongoing speculation about his future, but admits he is desperate to play in the UEFA Champions League.

Playmaker Candreva has been linked with a move away from Lazio this summer and said earlier this week that he was flattered by reported interest in him from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 27-year-old’s impressive performance in Italy’s 2-1 win over England on Saturday has only fuelled further rumours about where he will play next season, but he is concentrating only on the Azzurri’s World Cup campaign.

He says his future will take care of itself, especially if he can achieve success with his country in Brazil.

Candreva told reporters: “A player's ambitions are to do good things and to play at the best clubs and to play in the Champions League.

“I hope to play a good World Cup, then I'll be happy about what will happen.”

Juventus have also been credited with an interest in Candreva, although reports say Lazio will not part with him for less than €25million.
