The Brazilian was forced to resign from the French giants at the end of last season after receiving an initial nine-month ban for pushing a referee.
The ban was later increased but then appealed by Leonardo, who is due in Paris on May 30 for a hearing which he hopes will be the end of the process.
PSG have never moved to replace Leonardo, and Gazzetta reported on Wednesday that the 44-year-old was expected to return.
Speaking to L'Equipe about the reports, Leonardo said: "In my life, everything is possible. You know my strong relationship with PSG. I have this club in my mind.
"But there is a date of May 30th before which nothing can happen with me."
Leonardo, who is thought to want a return to coaching in the future, three years after leaving Inter Milan, has remained in close contact with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, and his recruitment expertise could be key for PSG in a summer when they are expected to be hit with penalties for breaking UEFA's financial fair play regulations.
