Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has insisted that there are no plans to sell striker Stevan Jovetic, while an offer from Russia for Facundo Roncaglia has been rejected.

Jovetic has been struggling for form of late and his future was again the subject of speculation in January, but he remains under contract until 2016 and has been given the full backing of Prade.

He said: "Jovetic is not a problem. He is having a lacklustre period but we want to keep him as a top player of ours.

"We are talking about his contract (and his new buyout clause) with his agent very calmly, and then we have to see where we will be at the end of the season."

Roncaglia has been catching the eye recently with his performances in defence, and Fiorentina have no interest in letting him go despite receiving enquiries.

"He has been very important for us and some Russian clubs have come forward, but Fiorentina and the player have decided to reject the offers," explained Prade.

Meanwhile, Mohamed Sissoko has been officially presented to the media as a Fiorentina player after joining from Paris St Germain last month.

He has been away on international duty with Mali at the Africa Cup of Nations for the past few weeks, but is now looking forward to the challenge ahead at Fiorentina.

He said: "I'm here to do my best. PSG were a really strong side but it wasn't enough for me to stay there without playing, so I chose to start this new adventure.

"The club convinced me immediately with their aims and ideas. I have been here just a few hours but the team presented themselves in a really good way.

"Fiorentina can get Champions League qualification and I'll do everything to help get them there."
