Paris St Germain's Thiago Silva has not ruled out a return to AC Milan in the future.

The Brazilian defender swapped Italy for France last July in a deal reported to be in the region of £33million.

The transfer, along with that of Zlatan Ibrahimovich, angered many Milan fans with some calling the pair mercenaries.

The move was said to have saddened Silva, who at the time claimed he was forced out of the club.

"Now it's going better," admitted the 28-year-old. "To tell the truth, it has been a little difficult for me. French football is difficult, it's not as easy as everyone believes.

"I have so much nostalgia for Milan, I miss them and they will always remain in my heart.

"I don't know the future, but if there was space, surely I'd like to come back."

Silva also claimed that two of his former team-mates at AC are on the verge leaving the San Siro.

"Robinho is not as happy as he was in the first year at AC; in January I think he will go away," he said. "Pato is not happy too; in my opinion, he would return to Brazil to be happy again."
