Javier Pastore is hoping reports suggesting David Beckham is on his way to Paris St Germain prove to be correct, as his experience would be invaluable.
Speculation continues to link the former England captain with a return to European football and a switch to the French capital.
With his contract in the United States with LA Galaxy about to come to an end, Beckham's next career move is generating plenty of interest.
PSG are known to be keen, with the Ligue 1 outfit in the process of piecing together an ambitious project under their Qatari owners.
They certainly have the funds to finance a move for Beckham and Pastore, who joined the club in a big-money transfer over the summer, claims the 36-year-old midfielder would be a welcome addition to the squad.
"Beckham? His experience is huge because he has won titles wherever he has been in his career," the Argentine playmaker told L'Equipe.
"For us younger players, he could bring a lot. Talking to him would be a big help.
"Beckham has a presence that is very impressive. In our squad, no-one has an honours list like him or so much experience."
While keen to see Beckham brought on board, Pastore has revealed that there could be more Argentine arrivals at Parc des Princes.
"When I am with the Argentina national team, a lot of players told me: 'It would be nice if you talked about me to Leonardo. Going to Paris would be exciting'.
"Nowadays a lot of players want to come to Paris. The town is great and the club is big.
"If major players come here in the near future, PSG will become a world-class side."
