Paris St Germain v Nancy
Ligue 1 leaders Paris St Germain were stunned at the Parc des Princes as Nancy, who started the day in 19th place, claimed a shock 1-0 success.
Jean Calve scored the only goal of the game early in the second period when he fired home right-footed after good work from Loosemy Karaboue.
The hosts could not find a way past visiting goalkeeper Guy N'Dy Assembe as Nancy, who had previously taken just one point from six away games, held on for three crucial points.
Brest put some breathing space between themselves and the bottom three in Ligue 1 with a 2-0 victory over 10-man Sochaux on Sunday afternoon.
Bruno Grougi scored the opener from the penalty spot following a challenge which saw Mathieu Peybernes sent off, with Romain Poyet adding another 10 minutes from time as the home side picked up only their second league win of the season.
The result lifts them two points behind mid-table Sochaux.
Valenciennes edged clear of the relegation zone in Ligue 1 with only their third win of the season as they beat Auxerre 2-1.
Alain Traore gave Auxerre the lead 11 minutes before the interval, but Isimat Mirin and Mamadou Samassa struck in the second half to secure a much-needed win.
