Capital giants wrap up deals for Matuidi and Menez

Paris St Germain's summer rebuild has continued with the captures of Blaise Matuidi and Jeremy Menez. The midfield pair arrive in the French capital from St Etienne and Roma, respectively. Both men have plenty of prior experience of life in Ligue 1 and will hope to play a significant role in PSG's ambitious plans for the future. Matuidi began his career with Troyes and spent three years on their books before moving to St Etienne in 2007.

Debuts

The 24-year-old, who made his senior debut for France in a Euro 2012 qualifier against Bosnia and Herzegovina in September 2010, has penned a three-year contract with PSG. Menez is also 24 and made his international bow for Les Bleus a month before his new team-mate in a friendly date with Norway. He began his career with Sochaux and spent two years with Monaco before moving to Serie A with Roma in 2008. He has also inked a three-deal upon completing a return to his homeland.
