Mohamed Sissoko has distanced himself from speculation suggesting he could soon be on the move.

The Juventus midfielder has been the subject of much discussion of late, with his future in Turin called into question on a regular basis.

The summer arrivals of Diego and Felipe Melo have restricted his first-team opportunities at Stadio Olimpico, helping to fuel the exit rumours.

Sissoko, though, is adamant he has no plans to secure a January switch elsewhere and insists that his immediate concern is getting back to full fitness following a spell on the sidelines.

"I feel good here at Juve," he said.

Big players

"I arrived in January 2008. I have felt good here ever since."

He added: "I hope to be back to 100 per cent in the New Year and return to being the player I was before."

Mali international Sissoko has also offered his backing to Diego and Melo, with the Brazilian duo having struggled to live up to their hefty price tags.

"I'm convinced that they will be big players," he said.

"Juve invested a lot in them. They are having a difficult time at the moment, but I am certain that they will prove to be helpful to the team."
