Barcelona midfielder Alexander Hleb could join Inter Milan as part of the deal that sees Brazilian defender Maxwell move in the other direction, according to reports in Italy.
Barca confirmed on their website on Wednesday that they had 'reached the beginning of an agreement' for Maxwell, with an initial fee of 4.5 million euros.
However, it has now been suggested that Hleb could head to Italy in a part-exchange arrangement after the Belarus international revealed this week that he was considering his options.
"For now, I'm still a Barca player," he told Sport Express.
"I'll try my best but if my situation doesn't improve then I will have to find another club."
Hleb was widely reported to have met with Inter in March last year while still an Arsenal player.
